Michael is a costume designer based in Los Angeles. He is a graduate of the design course at National Institute of the Dramatic Arts in his hometown: Sydney, Australia.
Michael’s design work has taken him all over the world. His film credits include costume designer for the feature films WATCHMEN , TERMINATOR SALVATION, RENDITION, (Costume Design Guild Award Nomination), 300 (Costume Design Guild Award Nomination, Saturn Award Nomination), FRIENDS WITH MONEY, DARK WATER, PARTY MONSTER, AMERICAN SPLENDOR and GARDEN STATE.
He was also a design assistant on the feature films THE MATRIX, ROMEO+JULIET and MOULIN ROUGE.
His theater work includes award-winning costume designs for the Sydney Theater Company, Opera Australia, The Australian Dance Theater, Radio City Hall and the Ensemble Theater.
Michael also works in Special Event design - he created hundreds of costumes for the Opening and Closing Ceremonies of the SYDNEY 2000 OLYMPIC GAMES.
